Department of Applied Mathematics
Founded in 2019 as a result of the merger of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations and the Department of Applied Mechanics and Computer Technology. Provides training for specialists in “Applied Mathematics” and “Mathematics”. The department develops modern areas related to the application of mathematics: model building, optimization, analysis of results.
Department of Computer Science and Information Technology
Provides training in the field of “Information Technology” in the specialty: “Computer Science”. Graduates of the department can work as administrators of databases, access, systems, software engineers, specialists in computer software development, design of information systems for various purposes, Data Science analysts.
Department of Management Information Systems
The department is a graduation for students majoring in “Information, Library and Archival Affairs”. Graduates acquire skills to find access to information and knowledge in any format; apply theories, processes, technologies and standards to create information resources; use information retrieval systems and promote information resources on the Internet; make strategic management decisions, easily navigating in today’s information world.
Department of Political Science and Public Administration
Since 1992, the department has been training specialists in political science, public policy and administration. Areas of scientific interests of teachers of the department: political power, democracy, branding of territories, forecasting of political processes, public policy, political culture, political communications, transformation systems.
Department of Journalism
The Department of Journalism is the graduating department of the specialty “Journalism”. Since 2001, the department has been recruiting and training students for the Bachelor’s degree, and since 2005 for the Master’s degree. Since 2018, the specialization of the master’s degree is “Digital Journalism”. Our male and female students study with the use of training methods, educational games, constantly create practice-oriented projects. Our graduates work as correspondents and reporters, TV presenters, bloggers, commentators and analysts, photojournalists, videographers and more.
Department of Radiophysics and Cybersecurity
The Department of Radiophysics and Cybersecurity combines educational and scientific traditions of the two departments, which after the relocation of Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus to Vinnytsia joined forces to preserve and improve the quality of training. These are the departments of radio physics and physics of nonequilibrium processes, metrology and ecology named after IL Povha. Teachers and staff of the departments since their inception have successfully combined the educational process and research.
