Faculty of Information and Applied Technologies

For students

Welcome to the page of the student of the Faculty of Information and Applied Technologies! Here you can get the necessary information about the most important aspects of student life of future mathematicians, document scientists, programmers, as well as political scientists and journalists.

Despite the difficulties of studying at FIPT, our students not only gnaw the granite of science, immersing themselves in the world of abstractions. They live a full and fulfilling life, have a rest, attend sports sections, take part in public activities and student self-government, organize holidays and competitions. It was mathematicians who contributed to the revival of the tourism movement at the university and continue to make a significant contribution to its development.

The faculty has a long tradition of social activity, to which students join almost from the first days of study, and for many years after graduation they remember with pleasure and nostalgia the time spent at Vasyl’ Stus DonNU.

Debut of the Freshman

The most desirable holiday for a freshman! New acquaintances, new impressions, do not delay – join!

FIPT Day

The most important holiday of the year is the Day of the Faculty, the founder of which was the Faculty of Mathematics. The holiday was first held in 1971, and we now have a glorious tradition of celebrating faculty days throughout the university. University students from other cities, such as Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odessa, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, are invited to the DMF.
