Vasyl Komarov

senior lecturer of the department of information technologies of Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University

In 1998, he graduated from Donetsk State University with a degree in “Physics” and obtained the qualification of a specialist (physicist-engineer) with a specialization in “Physics of non-equilibrium processes”.

In 1999, he graduated from Donetsk State University, majoring in “Physics” and obtained the qualification of master of physics, teacher.
From 1999 to 2002, he studied full-time postgraduate studies in the field of Fluid, Gas and Plasma Mechanics at the Department of Non-Equilibrium Physics, Metrology and Ecology of the Donetsk National University.

From 2002 to 2014, he worked in the laboratory of computer modeling of the research department of Donetsk National University on the basis of the Department of Physics of Nonequilibrium Processes, Metrology and Ecology as a researcher (0101U005373 “Modeling of hydrodynamic and heat-mass transfer processes in an intermediate ladle”, 0104U002157 “Numerical modeling of hydrodynamic and thermophysical processes in intermediate ladles of various configurations”, 0107U001466 “Mathematical modeling of hydrodynamic and heat-mass transfer processes during metal processing in an intermediate ladle”, 0112U002699 “Energy saving during steel casting” and others).

On a part-time basis from 2003 to 2012, he worked as a design engineer of the first category of the design bureau – a separate division of the state joint-stock company “DONBASVUGLEAVTOMATIKA” (Donetsk) on the creation of projects of operational dispatch control systems (in particular, the first 12 projects of the unified telecommunication systems of data control and automated control of mining machines and technological complexes of UTAS based on Trolex TX9042 microcontrollers, which are designed to control sensors and transmit data at dangerous workplaces), modernization of electric drive systems, etc.
From 2015 to 2019, he worked as a senior researcher in the research group of Vasyl Stus DonNU in Vinnytsia, and then, until 2022, in the educational laboratory of general-purpose software of the Department of Information Technologies of the United Faculty of Information and Applied Sciences technologies.

In April 2021, he defended his candidate’s thesis on the topic “Improving the method of removing non-metallic inclusions by influencing the transfer processes in the melt in the cavity of the intermediate ladle” in the specialty 05.16.02 – “Metallurgy of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and special alloys” in the specialized science D 08.084.03 of the National of the Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
andidate of technical sciences from 2021.

Senior teacher since 2013.

From September 2023 to the present, he works at the Department of Information Technologies of DonNU named after Vasyl Stus (as a senior lecturer).
