In 1976, he graduated from Donetsk Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Electronic Computers and a qualification of Electrical Engineer.

In 1995 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences, and in 1997 he was awarded the academic title of Professor of the Department of Electronic Computers.

He teaches the following disciplines: “Object-Oriented Analysis and Design”, “Data Mining”.

Research areas:

• • theory of digital automatamethods
  • optimization of control devices

Author of more than 500 scientific papers, textbooks and monographs. He has prepared 15 candidates of sciences.
